Congratulations to ME!

Lol. Okay, so I'm smiling because I found out today that I scored in the top 10% of all test-takers on the Praxis II Exam for teacher licensing!! I got a gold certificate and everything =)) I am really happy because the test required me to write 22 essays in 2 hours, and I kicked butt! Yay for me!! I get my Level 2 license :)

Super Bowl Sunday

We went to Trevor and Tamara's house for the Super Bowl, and ate lots of delicious food :) My favorites were the mini-hotdogs and the meatballs. I ate so much though that I had a severe tummyache during the game, but oh well, I had fun playing with Rev and Griffin. =) They are too cute.

Oh by the way, the chihuahuas' names are Lakeesha and Paco. HAHA.

Bubs!

Bub's been out 14 months today! He only has about 9 months left on his mission and we are so excited to see him again! Keep up the good work lil bro, we love you!

Sis

It's beautiful, but I'm sick of it!!!!!

So...in the last month, it has snowed, and snowed, and snowed....I think I heard the weatherman say that we've gotten like 50 inches so far this year! This is the worst season yet since I've lived in Utah! I CANNOT WAIT for it to be spring and to see green grass again and flowers and not have to wear pants, socks, boots, and coat outside everyday! I'm glad we've gotten the precipitation, but c'mon, this is a little ridiculous. =)

We thank thee oh God for a prophet...

I was overwhelmed with gratitude today as we said goodbye to our beloved prophet, President Gordon B. Hinckley. I am so thankful for the example of his life, for his teachings, and for his love. Brother Monson said today at his funeral that every time they rode under the temple grounds, Pres. Hinckley would quietly remove his hat and place it in his lap--to me, that is a simple, yet profound gesture. Brother Eyring spoke of his optimism, "It'll all work out" was his constant reply. And his daughter, Virginia, spoke of his devotion to her mother, his wonderful example, and his faith in the Lord. As they played the closing hymn for the funeral, "My Shepherd Will Supply My Need" and displayed a slideshow of photographs, I was overcome with his goodness. My heart was filled with emotion and tears flooded my eyes. I am so thankful for this wonderful prophet.

"In all of life, have much joy and laughter, life is to be enjoyed, not just endured."
-President Gordon B. Hinckley
